Important Saftey & Assistance Information
To ensure every journey is safe, comfortable, and dignified, please note the following:
• Our drivers are insured and trained to assist passengers into and out of the vehicle only.
They are not permitted to provide physical assistance inside homes, care facilities, or buildings.
• If a passenger requires physical support beyond vehicle entry and exit, a suitable companion must travel with them to provide this assistance.
• For safety during travel, wheelchairs should be crash-tested and suitable for vehicle restraint systems.
• By making a booking, you confirm that the wheelchair being used is suitable for safe transport in a licensed wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
• If, on arrival, a wheelchair is found to be unsafe or cannot be properly secured, the driver has a legal duty to refuse or cancel the journey on safety grounds.
• We know that appointments don’t always run to time. If you’re unable to confirm a return pickup when booking, our team will do everything they can to collect you as soon as possible once you are ready. Please be aware that, due to other pre-booked journeys, we may not always be able to return immediately, but we will do our best to keep you informed of our ETA and prioritise your collection wherever possible.
Our priority is always your safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
If you are unsure whether your wheelchair or circumstances are suitable, please contact our team before booking, we are always happy to advise. 📞 01202 888810
