We are CWRC Taxis, Also known to many locally as Colehill & Wimborne Radio Cabs Ltd, Est 2003, we are an Experienced, Local Family Run, Taxi & Private Hire company based in the East Dorset area.

We have over 20+ Years of experience in offering our customers Taxis & Private hire transportation services across the local area and beyond.
Our fleet comprises of vehicles ranging from 4 seaters to 8 seaters, we can cater for individuals, as well as small groups. We also have a number of wheelchair-accessible taxis that give accessibility to great affordable transportation solutions to our customers.

we will happily help you plan your journeys using our years of hands-on experience, providing you with estimated timings from pick-up to drop-off, as well as any other information you might need to help you make informed choices.​

OUR STORY
Colehill and Wimborne Radio Cabs was founded by Nick Jones who started driving Taxis around 1996, after 7 years of experience driving taxis around the area, Nick establish Colehill and Wimborne Radio cabs in 2003, with a small team of other local drivers.

Fast forward to 2014 Nicks son Rich joined Colehill and Wimborne radio cabs, starting off as a driver, learning the ropes from the bottom up. Around this time, an Aunt (Jo) and a Cousin (Rob) also joined the crew, which is where we really started to become a family business.
​
Over the years we have added to our team a great bunch of loyal drivers, who have been with us for many years and are a solid part of our CWRC family.
Becoming more than just your average taxi company
​
After a few years Rich then started to merge roles from the driving side of the job to the back office side of things.
Working along side nick to help modernize and improve the efficiency of the CWRC whilst striving to maintain the human touch with our customers.
​
We also understand living in a partly rural area that accessibility is not always great for customers who cant drive or get a bus, as as a result businesses like ours can be a vital lifeline for some of our customers and we continue to find ways to help support these members of our community, whether it is by offering wheelchair accessible vehicles, picking up customers from the middle of no where or just being flexible with your needs we are always determined to help if we can.

With the company now being led by the father & son team of Nick and Rich, we eventually started to focus on the companies future, learning from our successes and from any mistakes along the way. Our goal is to always be better tomorrow then we are today as a result we have slowly gone from strength to strength learning every step of the way. Constantly trying to improve things for our staff, drivers and most importantly our customers.
Growing the business

With the business growing we needed reinforcements behind the scene so we can keep delivering you consistently great service. We then welcomed Laura and Sarah into the CWRC family. Since they have started its really made a massive difference.
​
Laura is our amazingly talented Fleet manager who keeps us organized and ensures all of our cars are licensed and kept up and running, in good working order. She makes sure our cars receive regular maintenance, which helps to not only keep our drivers and customers safe but it also ensure we have more availability of vehicles to help serve our customers.
​
Then we have Sarah who is our junior operations manager, taking over from Rich, she now overlooks the day to day running of the business and is the vital link between our drivers and our customers.
If any of you have called or sent an email to us, you have probably spoken to Sarah, who is one of the mostly lovely and friendliest people you could ever speak to on the phone.
She offers great customer service to all our customers and is always willing to help when she can.

With these two on board we have really managed to press on as a company and again we have been looking forward to what's to come next, We are currently focusing on the local communities that we operate in to find ways we can help give something extra to our customers whilst also supporting the local community and other local businesses, on top of some charitable work to give something back to the communities that we work in.
Some of our charitable work so far has included donating easter eggs to Colehill First School as well as offering free advertising to great local charities such as Wimborne Model Town.
