With over 20 years of experience, we proudly offer local and regional transport services to customers across the county, covering Wimborne, Ferndown, Verwood and the surrounding areas.

OUR STORY
Built on Family, Driven by Community
CWRC Taxis was founded in 2003 by Nick Jones, who began driving taxis in 1996 with a simple belief: local transport should be personal, dependable, and built on trust.
What started as a small local service quickly became something more — a family-run business rooted in the community it serves.
In 2014, Nick’s son Rich joined the company, learning every part of the business from the ground up.
As more family members became involved, CWRC grew into a true family enterprise, shaped by shared values, hard work, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Today, CWRC combines modern systems with old-fashioned service, offering everything from local trips to long-distance travel, accessible transport, and specialist bookings — all delivered with the same care and personal touch that started it all.

Giving Back to the Community
Being part of the community means more than just providing transport.
Over the years, we’ve proudly supported local schools including Colehill First, Hillside First, Allenborne Middle and Trinity school, along with youth sports teams such as Wimborne Rugby and Verwood Youth Football.
From sponsoring kits and local events to donating equipment and prizes, we believe in giving back to the families and organisations that make our area what it is.
Our commitment to community support was recognised with a Community Business Award — a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

Our founder, Nick Jones, was recently honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the local transport industry.
