Wimborne Minster

At the heart of the town sits Wimborne Minster Church, one of the most iconic buildings in Wimborne, the Church is over 1300 years old and has one of the only surviving chained librarys in the world.

Wimborne Model Town

Wimborne Model Town is a 1/10th scale model of the centre of Wimborne as it was in the 1950s. During your visit you can get close up and personnel with the model building, be amazed at the detail of the miniature shop displays within them, wander around a nearly one acre site set with mature gardens and find other attraction to delight young and old alike. Wimborne Model Town is a community charity staffed and run almost exclusively by volunteers.

Moors Valley Country Park

Moors Valley is an award-winning visitor attraction offering a host of outdoor activities for all ages.

Discover miles of walking trails, cycle routes and dog-friendly trails, two large adventure play areas, Adventure Valley featuring Mini Land Rovers and Adventure Golf, Cycle Hire, Gruffalo and friends’ sculptures, a one mile Play Trail, our Tree Top and Music Trails, and accessible Bee Hive play structure.

Avon Country Park

Avon Heath Country Park is a mixture of glorious heathland and woods and has been awarded a Green Flag.

Enjoy a walk or cycle along one of the trails and discover some of the abundant wildlife.

Take part in a treasure trail or grab something to eat or drink from the takeaway kiosk or cafe.

Many events take place during the year at this country park, especially family events during school holidays.

Long John’s Fish and Chips is a family run business who have been serving fish and chips since 1948. It has been in their family for four generations. They take great pride in providing the highest quality fish and chips to the local area, with shops in Wimborne, Blandford, Wareham and Oakdale.

Eight Arch Brewery

Eight Arch's taproom is a pop up bar in their brewery in the heart of Wimborne. It’s a place for people to get together and enjoy our beers fresh from where they’re brewed in a fun, relaxed space with street food every Friday & Saturday. Dogs and children welcome.

As a country pub they understand the needs of walkers and their companions, so muddy boots are not frowned upon and well-behaved dogs are more than welcome in the pub, as well in some of their accommodation.

The Coach House At The Brook
